Will Brown | Journalist
In sports, opinions are girded by facts. That’s no longer the case in public policy.
Will Brown believes that American democracy can be brought back from the brink if we incorporate some of the lessons that many of us learned as young athletes. Amateur athletics are a blueprint for navigating the hyper-partisan political era that envelops us because they allow us to break from our political silos, and, most importantly, reinforce certain core truths.
Will Brown is a native Floridian, journalist and photographer who has worked for publications in Florida and Texas. He has earned awards for breaking news and social media. He currently is a Report for America corps member focusing on race, poverty and inequality for Jacksonville Today.
