Matt Berseth is the co-founder and CIO of NLP Logix, a leading AI services company. Matt is an AI and data science subject matter expert who is a member of the Forbes Technology Council; he also led a TEDx talk in 2022, titled “Why Artificial Intelligence is More Human Than You Think.” Matt holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from North Dakota State University. Matt holds adjunct faculty positions at both the University of North Florida and Jacksonville University, where he teaches data science. He serves on the advisory board for the Florida Data Science for Social Good nonprofit and is also a member of the computing advisory board for Jacksonville University.

Katie Bakewell
Vice President, NLP Logix

Katie has 10 years of experience designing and building data science solutions at NLP Logix. Such solutions include epidemiological alerts, published research in Advanced Wound Care, and models to improve financial outcomes in debt collection with over $1 trillion in defaulted debt scored. Katie also collaborated with a customer to develop natural language models that match job seekers with job requisitions. Before joining NLP Logix, Katie was a student at UNF, completing a Master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences with research in DNA-based computers and commodity pricing through time series forecasting.

Paul Bryce
Platform Engineering Executive, Bank of America

Paul Bryce is a Business Executive for the Employee Experience Technology Employee Endpoints and Digital Services (EEDS) team for Bank of America. Based in Jacksonville, United States, Paul brings extensive expertise in managing complex technology projects and driving digital transformation. With expertise in project management, agile methodologies, and data analytics, Paul plays a vital role in overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge technologies that enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.

Matthew Chang, P.E.
Principal & Founder, Chang Robotics

Matthew Chang, PE, is a Georgia Tech engineer with a career in advanced manufacturing and engineering licenses in the USA and China.  Matthew founded the engineering company Chang Industrial in 2017 with a focus on helping companies solve their workforce issues with advanced technology. Chang Industrial has become known as one of the best firms globally for autonomous robotics and cobotics, as highlighted in his 2023 TEDxJacksonville Talk: “In the Future, Your Coworker Will Be a Robot.”

Josh Gellars, PhD
University of North Florida

Josh Gellers, PhD, is professor of political science, inaugural faculty fellow for artificial intelligence, and director of the Digital Humanities Institute at the University of North Florida. He is also an expert with the Global AI Ethics Institute, a member of two IEEE working groups on AI governance, and a Fulbright scholar to Sri Lanka. Josh’s research focuses on the intersection of environmental governance, rights, and technology. He has published dozens of articles and chapters, and written two books, including the award-winning Rights for Robots: Artificial Intelligence, Animal and Environmental Law. Josh holds a BA in political science from the University of Florida, an MA in Climate and Society from Columbia University, and an MA and PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine. He has provided expertise on AI to legislators, academic institutions, nonprofit organizations, attorneys, and numerous media outlets.

Scott Gutterman
Senior Vice President Digital & Broadcast Technologies, PGA TOUR

Scott Gutterman leads the teams that run the PGA TOUR Digital and Broadcast Technology platforms. These teams work to deliver the best digital, linear, and live streaming experiences for the PGA TOUR fans. He oversaw the in-house transition of the TOUR’s digital assets and capabilities in 2013. In 2021, the teams introduced Every Shot Live for the THE PLAYERS Championship, which live-streamed every shot from every player for the first time at a professional golf tournament. The teams have developed numerous innovative experiences for the PGA TOUR, including the new Apple Vision Pro App and the latest version of the TOURCAST platform, a 3D simulated experience that shows every shot live from all PGA TOUR Events. Recently, the Digital team updated and launched new versions of the PGA TOUR’s award-winning apps and websites. In January 2025, the Broadcast Technology team launched the new PGA TOUR Studios building in Ponte Vedra Beach. Scott came to the TOUR in September 2005 after working for Turner Broadcasting, Viant Corp., and New Era of Networks.

Andrew Rush
President/CEO, Star Catcher

Andrew Rush is a recognized leader in the space industry, known for driving innovation, execution, and growth across both emerging and established aerospace ventures. As President & CEO of Made In Space, he scaled the company from an early-stage startup to a profitable space technology pioneer, leading groundbreaking efforts such as the first-ever manufacturing in space and the development of the first satellite capable of in-orbit manufacturing and assembly. In 2020, Andrew successfully negotiated Made In Space’s acquisition by Redwire Corporation, where he subsequently served as President & COO. At Redwire, he led strategic execution and investment planning, expanding the company across civil, defense, and commercial space markets. He played a critical role in upgrading the International Space Station’s power systems and oversaw Redwire’s growth to over 700 employees, culminating in its IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. Today, Rush is CEO of Star Catcher, a Jacksonville-based defense and space manufacturing company. Star Catcher’s mission is to eliminate power constraints on satellites and other spacecraft by constructing the Star Catcher Network: the world’s first space-based energy grid.

Matthew Thompson, MD, FACEP
CEO, Telescope Health

Dr. Matthew Thompson is a board-certified emergency physician, TEDx speaker, and telehealth innovator licensed in all 50 states, as well as the co-founder and CEO of Telescope Health, a national virtual healthcare and technology company that removes barriers and improves access to care. Through his leadership, Telescope Health has partnered with national benefit administrators, physician groups, municipalities, and healthcare organizations across the country to provide care navigation, price transparency, analytics, and virtual care solutions to patients nationally. Both he and Telescope Health are the recipients of multiple awards, including Jacksonville’s 40 under 40, Tech Leader of the Year, AWS Health Equity Innovation Grant, Innovation on Fire, and Community Impact Awards.
