Parvez Ahmed | Making Sustainability Mainstream
The concept of sustainability has become a key driver of innovation and competitiveness. As the Director of the Center for Sustainable Business Practices at the University of North Florida, nobody appreciates this more than Parvez Ahmed. In his presentation, we will learn about the roots of sustainability, what it means in terms of both education and business best practices, and what we can expect in the future.
Parvez Ahmed is a former Fulbright Scholar and currently Professor of Finance at the Coggin College of Business, University of North Florida. His research work has appeared in several major finance journals. In addition he writes articles about Islam and the American Muslim experience. His articles have been published in several leading newspapers at home and abroad.
