Introducing the TEDxJacksonville Idea Club
Over the last seven years, TEDxJacksonville has hosted a series of Salons, simulcasts, and annual conferences on issues that matter to our community. We love that every year our audience has gotten bigger, but in 2019 we want to do something different: we want to recommit to creating smaller, more intimate opportunities for meaningful conversations with one another.
That’s why we’re launching the TEDxJacksonville Idea Club. We’ll host informal viewing parties of pre-selected TED talks regularly at locations around Jacksonville. The goal is to bring together a diverse audience, fueled by curiosity and a sense of purpose, to dive deeper on subjects of interest to our community. We’ll discuss your thoughts, listen to alternative perspectives, and push problems into the open where they can be solved.
Our first Idea Club will be held May 30 at Bleu Chocolat Cafe in Springfield. Please consider joining us. Because we want to bring another person into the conversation—you. Reserve your place here.
